Dinner Party: Chateu KingsDeliverables: Brand Identity, Bespoke Menu Design, Print Design
Challenge:

Château Kings embodies effortless refinement—where America's timeless sophistication meets French savoir-faire. The challenge was crafting a visual identity that pairs the understated luxury of iconic establishments like The Polo Lounge with the quiet confidence of Parisian bistros and brasseries. We sought to capture that magical intersection where leather banquettes and gleaming dark wood harmonize with hand-written menus and meticulously curated service—creating spaces where heritage feels contemporary rather than contrived.

Process and Solution:

The design draws from distinctly American touchpoints—generational elegance, the glamour of New York social institutions, and the discreet elegance of private clubs—while filtering them through a decidedly French sensibility. The visual language juxtaposes the refined typography and considered spacing of American luxury establishments with the intimate, thoughtful presentation of classic French dining.

At the heart of our palette lies a soft pink that embodies the brand's distinctive duality—bold in its statement yet unmistakably feminine in its execution. This lavendar-blush tone commands attention without demanding it, creating moments of unexpected sophistication against deeper elements. It's a color that challenges traditional notions of luxury while honoring them—confident enough to stand as a signature element yet subtle enough to feel timeless rather than trendy.

Château Kings thrives at the crossroads of two iconic traditions—combining American confidence and warmth with French precision and restraint. It's where The Carlyle meets Café de Flore, where Manhattan refinement embraces Parisian insouciance, creating an atmosphere where both a Manhattan and a Kir Royale feel equally at home.
